About Us

My name is Maly, the founder of Fine & Fit Apparel.

Firstly, being Fine & Fit isn’t NOT the now result or that you are required to be good looking and superficial or have a 6 pack.

Being Fine & Fit is the mindset of loving who you are at every stage of life. Being confident in yourself and continue to respect yourself to care for your mental and physical health. Embrace the journey as it was not easy for me and won’t be easy for anyone. Just know you and only you can change the course of your life for the better. Live your life for you and nobody else.

My apparel brand is a combined vision of my life journey and paying homage to my health and fitness as it’s played a huge part in me being the confident, strong woman I am today. My passion for activewear inspired me to blend my two passions: fitness and fashion into Fine & Fit Apparel.

 How did I get here?

It’s been a long and difficult personal journey where I left a toxic 10 year marriage, became a single mother and started all over again from scratch later in life. I was alone, overweight, unemployed and depressed. I was at rock bottom, but I decided to turn that negative energy into a mindset to achieve what I felt was the impossible at the time. I decided to create a legacy for my daughter. Be a role model she can look up to and aspire to be one day. But more importantly I did it for me. For my whole life, I put others needs and wants before my own. I didn’t feel worthy and that’s really sad to be saying it out loud but we can’t change what we don’t acknowledge.

So I signed up to a gym, and got a personal trainer. I made better eating habits. I removed myself from negative people. I removed myself from work environments that I wasn’t happy in. Did a lot of self reflection on my own negative traits and characteristics, spiritual beliefs and worked on self-care, self-love, self-improvement, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Took it one day at a time and nearly 2 years later I am in the best shape of my life. Lost over 20kgs, have posted my journey on social media which was another hurdle as I was  quite shy and reserved so it was also to push myself out of my comfort zone.

I'm still a work in progress and always will be but I can honestly say I am so happy now and want to share my story with those who feel they’re at rock bottom. It’s never too late to change any aspect of your life. No matter how hard or low things seem, you’re a lot stronger than you think.

Look Good, Feel Good…
